Everyone was talking about Michelle Obama’s gorgeous red gown at the 2013 Inauguration Ball, and lo and behold, it is designed by Jason Wu, the same designer of the white gown she wore four years ago at Obama’s First Inauguration Ball! She paired the long halter neck gown with velvet details with Jimmy Choo shoes, sparkly bangles and a ring by Kimberly McDonald.
Some fashion critics asked why she chose the same designer instead of launching a new name, but Michelle says that she just chose what she liked and was most comfortable in. Good thinking, Michelle! I think she looked radiant in it, especially with that color against her skin.
